Recently i was sent an STM8L-Discovery board by Gary Jackson from STMicroelectronics after replying to an offer on Design Spark website for 'Free STM8L-DISCOVERY kits for a little help'. I proposed a word game that, using the features available on the eval board, displayed words from a category of like words on the LCD display. Random it would show a word from another category and you had to press the button to identify this wrong word!
After 2 weeks of intermittand development i finally finished the game. I have uploaded to a knowledge article on the Design Spark website.
